Easter weekend was gorgeous in every way: the sun was shining, Will loved being outside, and we were able to spend time with both friends and family.
We spent Saturday morning at a neighborhood Easter egg hunt and though Will didn’t quite get it, he had lots of fun playing in the sand on the nearby beach. The afternoon was spent with the Quinn’s at their beach house, where Will spent lots of time with his buddy CJ. Then Easter Sunday was spent with Grandma and Grandpa Steed. It was a busy, but very fun weekend. Enjoy the pictures and have a great Spring!
I’ve been working my webhosting company all week long and I think that BillUnger.com may be back up and running. Everything appears to be in place, but please let me know if you find something that still isn’t working.
Now that the site is stable again, I can focus on getting some more posts online! I took 100+ pictures over Easter weekend (can you say over-zealous daddy?) and hope to get a few on the site in the next day or two, so check back often! In the meantime, be sure to scroll down to the Do not wubba me or I will wubba you post and listen to Grover rock out to “Monster in the Mirror” or go through all of the Categories on the right side of the page and check out some of my older posts!
I am still having some issues with my website, the newest manifesting itself in lost images?! Basically, all of the images are gone from the posts and I am working to restore them. Keep checking back and hopefully I’ll have it addressed soon…
Will really likes music. I mean he really likes music. Simply turning on a standard 8-beat drum on the keyboards sends the little guy into moves the likes of which MC Hammer couldn’t even pull off. And that guy was 2 Legit to Quit?!
Anyway… we have music playing a lot – everything from children’s songs to Jack Johnson (you have to listen to his songs for the Curious George Soundtrack – awesome!) to Madonna (that Material Girls get my groove goin’ too, but that’s a different post). We are always on the lookout for new CDs and bought Sesame Street Platinum: All Time Favorites this past weekend. And I gotta tell ya: I’m hooked! So much so that I spent this week’s guitar lesson transcribing “Monster in the Mirror” with Greg and it was a blast! How can a person (a furry lovable old Grover) possibly go wrong with lyrics like this?
If your mirror has a monster in it, do not shout
This kind of situation does not call for freaking out
And do nothing that you would not like to see him do
‘Cause that monster in the mirror he just might be you
So… as the April showers usher in some gray days, always remember the dancin’ fool in yourself and take a few moments to rock out. And always remember Grover’s words: Do not wubba me or I will wubba you
ps. the pics have nothing to do with dancing, although seeing how cute he is does make me want to do a little dance…
