Holy smokes has it been a long time since I posted?! I would love to say that I have been too busy soaking up the sun, but that isn’t really true. And I would love to say that I have been too busy relaxing and enjoying the summer, but that isn’t really true either. Luckily, we have been taking pictures throughout the summer and reviewing them helped me realize where all of our time has gone: apparently we have been spending lots of time watching Will eat and sleep!

I certainly would never have thought that watching someone sleep or eat could be so deeply entertaining and heartfelt. It’s not like Will is really doing anything spectacular, he’s just eatin’ and sleepin’ (and sometimes he doesn’t do either particularly well). But the goodness is that he’s ours. And it’s amazing to watch him and know that he is a part of our lives, and to feel all of the goodness that goes with it.

So… we are going to continue watching Will eat and sleep, maybe do a little of that ourselves, and continue to soak up the goodness. And though the summer sun is fleeting, this goodness will be around for awhile!
